i've fallen off..

the bandwagon.

i'm not going to post everyday for the rest of november.  too much work to do, holy cow.  last year, my work was slow at this time of year.  this year, i can barely do anything other than work.  it is crazy.  i think some of it is the prep for the upcoming maternity leave, but geez louise!

we had a pretty productive weekend...we prepped and painted the trim and living room...it is ALMOST done.

lucy and i hung out most of the weekend while paul busted his butt.  i have 2 new pics from my phone.  the quality is terrible, but funny pics.  the first one lucy put her babies, gracie and cindy to bed and then she decided to nap with them.  and then the second was today when she was going outside to play..she is wearing my hat that we found from when i was little, her dora sunglasses, last year's pea coat, and carrying an easter basket.  quite the combo!

yesterday i didn't blog and this is all i have today...oh well, life is getting in the way!

almost forgot

blogging has been at the bottom of my list...but i am going to whip something lame together, like a list:

• we are almost done with our kitchen...our i should say my aunt is.  the progress is awesome...will take pics when we are done
• bathroom is done minus the blinds that i had to custom order
• entryway is done
• basement living/rec room is 'almost' done, we are so close
• hopefully we will have the upstairs living room done over the weekend
• painting trim is a pain and hard work (random, but true)
• we have officially sold paul's car and now have my parents old van, yay!  no car payments, double yay!
• my to-do list is SO long right now, it is amazing
• we still have tons to unpack, i guess that is what happens with a 2 year old and tons of remodeling
• we have been living in chaos since about april of this year when we put the house on the market and had about 80 showings in 4 months, then sold, then bought, then packed up, then moved, then unpacked (kind of), and then remodeled.
• we have a crazy neighbor, more on that later
• we have some christmas lights up outside and two snowmen, lucy is really into christmas lights...she is really going to love driving around

1. Did you date someone from your school? Yes, lots :).  Mainly Aaron was my bf though.
2. What kind of car did you drive? Jeep Cherokee
3. What was the most embarrassing moment of HS? Don't really remember anything in particular.
4. Were you a party animal? No
5. Were you considered a flirt? Umm, I guess. I think I was voted Biggest Flirt, which to this day makes me laugh.
6. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir? Oh yeah, band and choir baby.
7. Were you a nerd? Tried not to be...liking math doesn't help though.
8. Were you on any varsity teams? Yes, volleyball, basketball, and track.
9. Did you get suspended/expelled? No
10. Can you still sing the fight song? Yes, did I mention I was a football cheerleader too.
11. Who were your favorite teachers? I think Mr. Yoki and Mrs. Olson because of math.  I liked alot of other ones, but I really can't remember
12. Where did you sit during lunch? In the cafeteria and then went to the gym to shoot hoops after.
13. School mascot? Mariner
14. Did you go to homecoming, and with who? Yes, it wasn't like you went with a date though.
15. If you could go back and do it again, would you? Well, life is good now, but I really liked high school...so probably.
16. What do you remember most about graduation? It was 39 degrees and raining. 
17. Where did you go senior skip day? Don't think there was one, maybe I am a nerd.
18. Were you in any clubs? Let's see, did we have clubs?  I think Riverwatch, NHS, and Jazz Band might count
19. Have you gained some weight since then? Well I'm pregnant now so yes, but I have actually lost weight since high school.
20. Who was your prom date? Sophomore - Frank Helgesen, Junior - Alex Zhukov, Senior - Joe Ernest.  I think that is right.  Might have junior and senior year mixed up though.    21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion? Yep, I went.  I think I just showed that I am old!
22. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?  Be nicer to your parents!

i said this was my favorite age...teething=lack of sleep=meltdowns which has me second guessing myself.

i REALLY hope this stage is over SOON!

missed!

paul survived another year deer hunting and actually saw 5 deer this year.  he shot one today, but i guess it didn't take the deer down.  about 5 guys tracked the hair and blood for 45 minutes but didn't find it.  dang it...kind of, if he would have got one we would have been driving back tonight with a deer on our roof.  not sweet.

and lucy, my mom, and i had a great weekend.  despite not much sleep and multiple meltdowns because of the dang molars coming in!  pics to come soon!

oh yeah, lucy went poop on the big potty today.  that is the big and exciting news here.   we are at my parents house for the weekend while the guys are hunting.  the weather has been 40 degrees and rain. blah

lucy is cutting her 4 last molars and last night i was up with her from 1am to 530 am off and on.  not a good night to have paul gone.  oh well...we survived!
